WebriQ releases new features and its Domain Manager

WebriQ provides a content management system and dynamic portal engine that enables anyone to publish their own website, and that from a simple informative website to a complex multisite and multilingual E-commerce, community or news portal. The platform includes a state-of-the-art CSS Template creation and parser tool, capable of integrating any custom design in to the CMS platform. A couple of very interesting features are added to the platform in the last week: one of them is the News box, where one can display in a slide show the latest news items that you want to display on your website.
A second feature that was added is the Domain Manager – the domain manager allows you to redirect an existing or new domain to your WebriQ subdomain and also allows you to set-up Google Business Apps applications within your own domain, and setting the MX Type and MX ID so that your e-mails are integrated within the same DNS environment. Amongst other, we also support ZOHO e-mail and other ZOHO business applications.

Since its inception WebriQ has been focused on bringing all types of customers on board, from the novice Internet user that wants a simple web presence to the sophisticated web developer that is using all the functionality and capability of the WebriQ software tool.

Our New Audio Gallery

As of this week, we will introduce our newly designed audio gallery. This will complement our already richly featured multimedia capabilities with all kinds of audio files that you can insert in any of your content pages or in the audio gallery. Your audio files can also be inserted in to one of the columns of your site and on your main page if you wish so.

You can get a sneak preview of our user interface underneath – the build-up and editing functions are basically the same as in our video gallery. You can flag improper use of audio files and report them to use. We will take necessary actions to remove those files if appropriate.

One of the absolute unique features of our web building tool is its capability to upload videos directly in to your websites and therefore the need to upload them first into another video uploader like Youtube and then embed the code in to your websites is of no need. Our video uploader converts all popular and frequently used formats like avi, mpeg, wmv, vob, 3gp amongst others and your uploads will be automatically converted in to mp4 (H264) or FLV, depending on the width and the height of your video capture. In lay man terms, high quality video will be converted in to mp4 and low quality video will convert to FLV/Flash Video format. We are in the process of enhancing our video features with favorites, statistics, ratings and also a FLAG. A Flag is used to file for complaints against any video that is uploaded and publicized on a website but that is violating a copywright law or that is protected under any intellectual property rights. Beyond that you can embed your uploaded videos in to any page, article, blog or widget that you have created on your WebriQ site. We are constantly trying to enhance our user's experience on our web building tool but also on our main portal. Pretty soon, we will update and re brand our main WebriQ portal. This should give all our existing and new users a better experience when navigating through the different pages and sections of our portal. It will also be easier to navigate to those sections that are most appealing to you, therefore better the overall quality time you spend on our website. Our New Shop Design

We currently have a basic implementation of our web shop or e-commerce tool. In the last couple of weeks we have been working hard to enhance the features but most importantly the look and feel of our e-commerce tool. So, we have come up with ergonomically designed web pages where you input all the required data in order to make shopping on your website a worthwile experience. We do offer you a payment gateway with our e-commerce tool, so you can accept all major credit/debit cards and Paypal payments. We can also offer you bank transfer facilities and direct bank payments as a way of settling e-commerce transactions if that would be required.
