WebriQ provides a content management system and dynamic portal engine that enables anyone to publish their own website, and that from a simple informative website to a complex multisite and multilingual E-commerce, community or news portal. We have updated our Content Management Platform today with a couple of very interesting and innovative features that will surely enhance the viewers experience on your already created or newly created website with WebriQ.
First and foremost we have added a couple of social media sharing features enabling you and the viewers of your website to share data of your website with other social media sites that you are running. Four options are available in the definition settings: Display Facebook like button, Display “Add this:share” in the galleries, Display “Add this:bookmark” in the Footer and Display “Add this: bookmark” in the shop area. Enabling those features will allow anyone coming to the site to share the content of your site with other social media sites like Facebook and also allowing your viewers to rate content on your website.
The second set of updates has been done in the shop area, where we basically enhanced the user experience on many areas like the invoicing and billing area, the shipping methodology logic, additions to the shopping cart and the wishlist.
Third we made it easier to change the logo on your website and the Favicon on the website: simply upload your logo in the definition area and the logo picture will automatically re size itself to fit in nicely in the area set for the logo. The same methodology is used for the Favicon icon, displayed in front of your URL. All this to enhance the look and feel of your site by just a couple of simple additions and a couple of clicks.
And last, we have enhanced the user interface on the Newsletter module. All modules have now a unified user interface and navigation mechanism, to make it easy for all the content managers to navigate through all the modules available on the WebriQ content management platform.
As of a couple of weeks ago, you can Register your domains from within the WebriQ platform, by logging in to your site and clicking on Register domains on the welcome page. You can also transfer your existing domain to WebriQ and therefore redirect your domain to your WebriQ subdomain.
As well as set your MX record for for example Google Business Apps or Zoho mail.
